At the choice of appropriate appliance for the environment with the occurrence of aggressive agents it is necessary to respect a few restrictive factors: resistance against aggressive agents, lifetime of the appliance, price, demands on service, and also variability of the products enable to use enclosed space well. Our plastic products for laboratories and chemical operations offer a large spectrum of possibilities of effective facility of new or modernized working places with equipment with special long lifetime and minimum demands on service. At the choice of used materials we especially insist on general resistance of the products in aggressive environment.
Plastic fume hoods with the HEKERA mark assert themselves broadly especially in extreme conditions, where work with highly aggressive agents causes a low lifetime of classical metal products. Used structural materials enable successful usage even in chemical production, where usually used combination of metal, glass, wood, metal and acrylate has not been successful. In such conditions corrosion even of the metal protected on the surface occurs relatively in short term and also wood swells up and its deformation occurs which makes everyday work more difficult and it also decreases the quality of the work. The development, especially in the domain of processing and using of structural plastics, enables not only to limit these risks, but also, under certain conditions, even to eliminate them. In case that the wiring will be restricted at the product, it is possible to use the plastic fume hood - never fear – in permanently wet environment and use it also for work with intensive evaporation of aggressive agents (acid cleaning). Usage of the plastic product in challenging conditions of trace laboratories seems to be especially appropriate.
The skeleton itself of the fume hood is created by peripheral supporting structure from discharged PVC and profiles of the same resistance. The interior of the fume hood and hood chamber is made from homogeneous PVC with higher resistance. Glazing is produced from the material resisted against hit (vide DIN 52290 number 4) and various aggressive agents. Used polycarbonate with its special surface treatment approaches glass with its hardness, but in comparison with glass it eliminates creation of chips.
The fume hoods are equipped – according to the request – with electric power distributions, water distribution, gas distribution and other media. Grip of these media as well as the grip of electro – facilities is located at the front lath out of the fume hood.

Within basic offer all the types are equipped with water distribution, sink with ended drain, lighting, outlets 230 V and switch of the suction - fan. Other wiring and distributions of media we realize according to the customer ´ s requests. It is possible to produce bulk cargo fume hoods in two versions of glazing, either front glazing only, or including glazing of the side walls. Table fume hoods are made only with front glazing.

Basic technological condition for various operations, which are connected with analysis or synthesis of various agents, is electric power supplies.
This effect is everyday necessary part of the activity of the laboratories. At the working places with occurrence of chemical aggressive agents heating of liquids is usually realized by common electric table cookers. This way is dependable safe and capital -unassuming, but the main problem in using of the mentioned cookers is their very low lifetime. In the environment mentioned above, any metal items coming into contact with chemicals, even in the shape of fumes, corrode very quickly aside from their surface treatment. Even inconsiderable mechanical damage of the surface treatment of the cooker body, which it is not possible to avoid at common service results in very fast oxidation of metals. There is no resolution in using of so - called stainless steel, mainly at today ´s development of laboratory technology. Even very small amount of corrosion on the surface of present metals is enough to falsify the results of the measurements and analysis, which is significant in trace laboratories.
The heating body itself without a surface treatment is the one most exposed to the aggressive influence. The result is decrease in intensity and effectiveness of the heating of liquids or decrease in safety and quality of the work by usage of these corroded cookers.
This situation, common for the most of the working places, serves successfully for usage of the brand new product - a glass ceramic boiling board sheathed by plastics.
The glass ceramic boiling board bears up against influence of aggressive environment in chemical laboratories without any problems. It is not the source of impurities coming from oxidizing metals, it is possible to keep its surface constantly clean with minimum effort. Considerable extent of fine control of thermal mode enables to comply even with challenging technological requests. Absolutely flat glass ceramic board enables collateral heating of fair amount of smaller containers without the risk of the lose of the samples by overturning of the container which can occur partly even out of the circular boiling zone.
The HEKERA VP board is determined not only for usage in the fume hoods of HEKERA DO, but also for heating on laboratory tables.
Other conjoint products are plastic medial walls with the possibility of mounting at the walls or within the space in the middle of the room. The space for distributions serves, at the same time, as a side shelf along the whole width of the table. Medial wall is made in white design from PVC. In basic design there is water distribution, a sink and 2 pieces of covered outlets 230 V. The part of the offer can also be current protection, which diminishes significantly the risk of electric trauma. Other media are delivered only per order. Plastic medial walls enable quick establishment of the laboratory in new or restored spaces without the necessity of face of the walls.

These products are determined mainly for laboratories and sanitation. For sophisticated conditions with occurrence of aggressive agents or for impact of moisture we also produce plastic furniture with the same level of resistance as the products mentioned above. The most frequent application of plastic furniture is cupboards as stowage space under the fume hoods or separated cupboards for acids. Hood of the cupboards is realized with the elastic hose into the existing suction pipeline in the room or directly into the hood chamber of the fume hood. Again, it is job order production with a possibility of some changes according to the customer ´s needs.

Plastic air – conditioning pipeline, suction - fans and plastic containers for aggressive liquids
In regard of the aggression of the agents dispersed in the suctioned air, suction pipeline with the same resistance bears on mounting of plastic fume hoods. We produce flat four – edge components of air – conditioning pipeline in maximum length of 2 350 mm. Standard design is white homogenous PVC. For additional charge ca 6% you can choose from eleven colour tints. Aside from plastic pipeline we also produce jobbing pipes and exhaust heads according to the customer ´s project. For example: exhaust head can have the size of 20 cm, but also of 3,5 m.

Plastic roof suction – fans are in PVC or PP designs. We produce mentioned air – conditioning per order according to the customer ´s project. Large scale of plastic suction – fans with high output and conjoint components, produced mostly per order, needs determination of the type according to individual cases. Usage of plastic suction – fan is necessary in case of presence of aggressive agents at the working place.
Another product is plastic containers for aggressive liquids with thermal and mechanical load, for example baths for galvanization. In this case it is also job order production.
UPS-urn plastic stowage resolves a lot of problems connected with the building of new urn memorials, graves and tombs or with the reconstruction of the already used ones. Easy installation does not need any special set up only a hole identical in size is sufficient. The urn plastic stowage is usable for complete inhumation underground or for partial recessing into the concrete frame prepared in
advance, which also serves as a base for decorative case. Used material of the stowage saves safely deposited urns against the influence of insect, voles, different temperatures and water. If our product is installed properly, its lifetime will certainly overreach 130 years.
